Islands of Adventure Update: A Nice Summer Day (PART 2)

Welcome to PART 2 of this latest Universal's Islands of Adventure photo-report, OTPN Readers. As always, be sure to check out PART 1 before proceeding.
In the previous part of this update, we checked out the Port of Entry, Marvel Superhero Island, Toon Lagoon, and part of Jurassic Park (including the future site of the rumored King Kong themed area). Now, we will conclude our tour of this great park, enjoying a stroll around the Lost Continent and Seuss Landing:

We just noticed now how the area doesn't look as beautiful without all those trees:

They had to be removed due to work on the King Kong area:

The cameras that were in the old T-Rex photo-op have been removed:

Moving along:

The temporary queue set up in the now-gone Triceratops Discovery Trail is ready:

The new location of the T-Rex photo-op still needs some help:

They could have done a better job in hiding the support behind the T-Rex:

The Hogwarts Express is now testing every day:

Heading to the Lost Continent:

Despite crowds, the "temporary" bridge connecting the Lost Continent to Jurassic Park was empty:

Here you are some photos of this particular area without Guests (it looks better this way, doesn't it?):

Looking back:

More photos of the Lost Continent:

Seuss Landing:

This sign is still looking bad:

Time to leave this wonderful place:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. Thank you very much for your support, and see you again real soon!

  1. Wonder what the queue line at the Triceratops encounter means? Another reopening?

  2. Overflow for Harry crowds. It's going to be madness starting Tuesday and lasting the rest of the year (with the massive crowds thinning slightly after summer, but it will still be packed).

Even with Diagon Alley in the other park, the crowds will want to see both lands. The overflow in IoA might be just for the train however.

  3. Shocked at the Ying/Yang of quality! The Harry Potter lands are amazing in their details and yet some of the signage around IOA looks like it belongs in an abandoned amusement park! Sad!
