Disney's Hollywood Studios: Rededication Ceremony Photos

It may be hard to believe it, but Disney's Hollywood Studios has been around for more than 25 years. While its future is still somewhat uncertain (nothing has yet been announced for the park, and many - including us - believe that there is a lot that needs to be done to "fix" this park), its past is certainly very interesting. On May 1, 2014, the park hosted a rededication ceremony to celebrate just that, a past that's been full of major events and changes. Hare you are a few photos of the ceremony:

The infamous stage in front of the infamous hat was set for the event:

Some of the Citizens of Hollywood showed up during the event:

Then, the ceremony officially begun:

Dan Cockerell, Vice President of Disney's Hollywood Studios (he was previously VP of Epcot)

Some of the Cast Members that opened the park were also in attendance:

..and they were accompanied by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, all dressed up for the occasion!:

Time to have some fun in true Hollywood style:

Saluting the Cast Members:

And that was all:

A look at the stage props:

Special products were sold at Soundstage 1 (some of them are still available TODAY at the Sorcerer Hat and Mickey's of Hollywood.):

Meet-and-greet with Dan Cockerell:

Time to leave:

And that is all for now. Before concluding, remember to like us on our official Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for live updates from the parks. 2. The hat and the stage should go, they both look awful and ruin the view.
