Universal Studios Hollywood PHOTO-GALLERY (Part 1)

Back in AUGUST 2013, some members of the Orlando Theme Park News Team were able to travel to Southern California to visit some of the area's attractions and places that are famous around the world, including Universal Studios Hollywood. While we were definitely impressed with the Studio Tour (we'll have a separate photo-gallery for that), the park itself was very underwhelming in our opinion. Having been to Universal Studios Florida very often (once a week), we noticed very few original attractions there.

In fact, aside from Waterworld (a stunt show rich in special effects but with a plot that was not very clear to people - like us -  who have never seen the homonymous movie), the Studio Tour, Revenge of the Mummy (same attraction, different layout) and the Special Effects Stage (a long - and boring - show), we just saw mostly clones of the Florida attractions. Sadly, it looks like Universal Studios Hollywood will continue to receive mostly clones in the future as well, but they have showed us that they can improve at least the attractions' facades and queue lines (like in the case of Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem), so we are confident that this park may become more interesting in the near future.

All that being said, let's take a look around the park. Before doing that, though, we will first make a quick stop at CityWalk, which is a much superior version of the one found in Florida. It is longer and offers many more stores and restaurants:

Entering the parking area (which was a mess, as there are many different parking garages here and there):

So many laws in California...

Our parking spot (the E.T. lot is said to be closed now, as it gets converted into a new multi-story parking structure):

The great CityWalk:

This actually feels like walking in a city street:

Really a much better version of what we currently have:
