Walt Disney World Resort: Price Increase (Feb. 2014)

The Orlando Sentinel reported a news that most people may not like. Indeed, the Walt Disney World Resort has increased its park admission prices for the second time in less than 12 months:
  • A day at the Magic Kingdom Park now costs $99.00 plus tax (previously $94.00);
  • A day at Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom is $94.00 plus tax (previously $90.00).
Would you still visit the parks, even if it meant spending more than $100 per person?

  6. These prices are getting very steep. Two price increases in such a short span of time is really unfair to families. Eventually, people will turn away if prices keep getting higher. I might not need those fast passes soon if the lineups drop because people decide to keep away.

  7. And they will continue to go... even if they raised the price by $50. For most people, Walt Disney World is a once in a lifetime visit. An extra $200 - $300 a family will not deter them. As long as Disney World keeps the Florida Annual Pass discounts for the locals, they will still have people coming...
