Magic Kingdom: Getting Ready for Spring (PART 1)

Welcome to our newest photo-report, Orlando Theme Park News Readers!
Today we are going to take a look around the Magic Kingdom Park to check out on the progress being done in the various areas that are currently under construction. As always, we will focus primarily on the still-not-open Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but we will also take a general look around the rest of the park. So, let us start walking (virtually, as we always do) around the park. We hope you will enjoy the pictures and comments:

First of all, the Transportation & Ticket Center was - as usual - packed in the morning:

Let's skip now directly to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom Park:

A cloudy (but great) day:

The Magic Kingdom "Welcome" show was just starting:

They were using a different vehicle this time:

Also, some have reported that one of the songs has been removed from the show:

Work on the facade of the Confectionery continues:

Work also continues on the Castle:

The outdoor seating area of Casey's Corner is still behind walls:

The expanded indoor seating area of Casey's Corner is now open:

It feels too busy now:

Moving on:

Heading toward Adventureland:

The facade of one of Adventureland's stores is also being refurbished now:

  1. Fantastic and very unusual pictures of the Castle being enveloped by the clouds.

Looks like there is going to be some kiosk or food cart sort of installation in that new area of Casey's. There was a hole there in the middle of the new red pavement for awhile, that now has been completed.
