Universal Orlando: Meal Deal Ending on November 2nd


If you have been visiting the Universal Orlando Resort in the past few years, you might have heard that the parks currently offer the special "Universal's Meal Deal" (come on, how can you avoid those big advertisements posted all over the parks, especially next to the participating restaurants?). Guests taking advantage of the program can eat all day long in select quick-service restaurant at either one of the two Universal Orlando parks (or even both), paying one low price. Well, this deal is being replaced very soon. Here's the official announcement:

Meal Deal Program Set to End on Saturday, November 2, 2013

The Universal Meal Deal program is set to end on Saturday, November 2, 2013 and will be replaced with a new “Universal Dining Plan – Quick Service” dining option starting on Sunday, November 3, 2013. The new Universal Dining Plan – Quick Service offers guests a wide variety of choices at any quick service or cart in the parks and at select locations in CityWalk! 

Under the Quick Service plan, guests will use pre-loaded Dining Plan cards for their meals around property good at over 100 dining locations. The Meal Deal will continue to be honored for guests who have purchased the Meal Deal via universalorlando.com or as part of their vacation package, but will no longer be available for sale as of November 3, 2013.
