OTPN's Southern California Trip: The Grove

During our recent trip to Southern California, we had to some spare time before going to visit the Madame Tussauds wax museum (PHOTOS HERE), so we took a look around one of the area's nicest outdoor malls (despite the fact that we usually don't really like doing that!), known as "The Grove." The great thing about the place is that there's a very charming trolley that makes a trip around the entire outdoor section of "The Grove," and the area in general is very clean (as you will see in another upcoming photo-gallery, that is quite different from the rest of Los Angeles and Hollywood, which are very dirty areas). Let's take a look around:

The state of California has a lot of strange (but sometimes interesting) laws... For example, they give restaurants (and any other food & beverage outlets) a rating using letters from the alphabet, based on how they did at the time of their health inspection. This reminds us of the system used in schools (in fact, it is!):

We really hope you enjoyed the photos! See you tomorrow with a new Disney's Animal Kingdom update! Also, remember to check out our DISNEYLAND and DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE photo-galleries!

  1. Very nice place but very expensive. I expect Downtown Disney (I mean Disney Springs) to look something like this. Kind of reminds me of the Americana Manhasset.

New York City also uses the rating scale for all restaurants in the city. This way you know to avoid Bs, Cs, and Ds as their cleanliness is not up to the standards of the As.
