Universal Orlando's CityWalk - July 2013 Update

Many rumors across the web claim that Universal Orlando's CityWalk may soon receive some additions. One of these rumors was posted a few days ago on the very popular Screamscape news website. Here it is:

"Interesting changes are on the way to Citywalk at Universal Orlando over the next 6-8 months that will change the dining options a bit. I'm told that the Endangered Species Store is expected to close in the near future, and Starbuck and Ben & Jerry’s will move in to take over the lower level space. Pastamore is expected to possibly move down into this area as well. Meanwhile the Latin Quarter is expected to undergo a change into a more Mexican format and there is talk of the Galaxy Bar reopening as some kind of high end snack bar featuring fancy hot dog creations."

That's a lot of changes, right? We will see when work on these projects will start. In the meantime, let us take a look around to check on the current status of Universal Orlando's CityWalk:

First of all, we noticed that new advertisements were installed above the moving walkways:

Some photos of the Endangered Species Store (which should close soon, if those rumors are correct):

This is actually one of the best themed shops of CityWalk. It will be a bit sad to see it go:

The CityWalk screen was once again not working:

The outdoor amphitheater was ready to host a special event that night:

The sign of the Nascar Sports Grille is still in bad conditions:

We have been reporting this for more than a year:

A new bar was recently added in front of the Universal Studios Store:

Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville:

That's the NBA City Restaurant, which is also rumored to be leaving soon to make way for a WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment)-themed restaurant/interactive museum:

During the evening hours, we noticed that a new TCBY sign was recently installed:

The amphitheater was also hosting a special event, as we stated before:

That should be it for now:
