Guest Post: Save Money at Orlando Theme Parks

Today we wanted to share with our readers the very first Guest Post to ever appear on our website. Guests Posts are created by outside companies, and are NOT written by the OTPN Staff. We are receiving multiple inquires on the subject, so we decided to go ahead and publish some of them. This first one could interest quite a few of our readers, as it discusses some very basic ways of saving money while visiting the many theme parks here in Central Florida. We hope you will enjoy it:

How to Save Money at Orlando Theme Parks

A family vacation must be affordable and at the same time you want to make sure you have a good time. See these excellent suggestions regarding budget-friendly family vacations to Orlando. You and your family will enjoy the time and have lots of fun in this beautiful vacation spot without having to spend too much money.

- Best Months to Visit

The months of April, May and October are a perfect time to visit Orlando. Usually it is less crowded so you will be able to enjoy a lot of the main attractions and theme parks. Also the prices for the theme parks should be fair and not over priced, as they sometimes are not during peak season.

- Getting the Best Out Of Attractions at a Low Cost

Many of the popular theme parks can be expensive sometimes. The way to save is to purchase Orlando park tickets online. You can have bigger discounts when they are purchased in advance and aside from saving money, you can also save time.

Also, be careful with many of the cheap ticket booths and sellers who offer packages and promotions that seem too good to be true. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You will think you are saving money only to have the theme park tickets end up being fake ones and illegitimate. So always make sure you try to find people who have taken advantage of the deals and packages you find and ask for their feedback.

- Saving On a Place to Stay

There are various hotels and inns to stay that can cut down the price and fit your budget. You will find places offering $50 a night to $80. Other places give you a bulk discount for staying longer with them.

Some must-see places include: shopping arcades, spas, museums, galleries, entertainment parks and golf clubs. If you want to make your vacation extra special you can go to places like the Disney Pop Century Resort, the Marriott’s Grande Vista and the Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. The great thing about these resorts is that they sometimes offer package deals that include free tickets to some of the more popular theme parks in the area.

- Save On Airfare

Normally, it takes quite a bit of money to get to Orlando and have a great time. Saving up for your airfare could take a few months. The best thing to do in order to get better deals on your flight is to compare airfare on different discount websites. You should come across some inexpensive tickets from time to time. There are some websites that offer updates through email and all you have to do is sign up for their weekly deals newsletter.

- Snacks and Meals

Food is the main thing to consider when you go out. One big discount to take advantage of is to select hotels/inns that offer food and accommodation packages also known as all inclusive deals. There are also other options like Groupon and Living Social which are websites that offer local discounts on restaurants and much more.

  1. I disagree with your best months to visit Orlando. April especially when Easter falls during the month is one of the most expensive times to visit. October is also a big convention month as makes theme parks busy and hotel/resorts charge more, especially Disney resorts.

  2. I agree with annonymous, April, May & Oct are the most expensive times of year to visit if you're visiting from the UK. Easter vacation & Halloween are extremely busy and I would avoid. I prefer to visit in early June & Nov.
