Magic Kingdom General Update: Sept. 2012 (PART 2)

Welcome to part 2 of this Magic kingdom photo-report! (PART 1 can be found here).

Going toward Frontierland, we noticed that work on the former Crow's Nest continues:

A glimpse behind the walls reveals...

...a mess:

Country Bear Jamboree is still closed for an extensive refurbishment:

Some work also going on in Liberty Square:

This is mostly related to the new Tangled-themed area, currently being built in Fantasyland:

Moving on to the least-interesting land (in our humble opinion) - Tomorrowland:

It's alive!:

The new railings have been installed on the Tomorrowland bridge:

The other side:

Back in the central hub, work continues on the former Swan Boats load/unload area in the Rose Garden:

Time to leave the park:

As we got out of the park, we noticed that work on the new bus shelters (and the new loop) has started:

It will take up a considerable amount of space:

Also, some (most) of the monorail cars are in serious need of a thorough refurbishment:

This is definitely not acceptable, especially for Disney's standards:

And this is all for this morning. We still have a few news and updates to post, so keep an eye out (we can just tell you that we will be again very busy this week...)

  1. I've Been Saying It For Years, The Monorails, Need A Refurb. I say before all the traffic comes for the new fantasyland.

  2. I recently rode the Monorail in Disneyland, and was surprised to find out for whatever reason, it doesn't have the usual, "Please stand clear of the doors" message. What a bummer that was.

  3. I agree with Drew! The inside of the monorails are so dirty and the pack so many people into it. Its A Mess And They Have To Fix It.
