Future World Update: Imagination Changes (PART 1)

Hello Orlando Theme Park News Readers, and welcome to another new photo-update! This afternoon we will take a look around Epcot, with a focus on the Imagination pavilion (that is receiving dome minor additions in the queue area), Test Track, and on the rest of Future World. In an upcoming update, we will also take a quick look at World Showcase to see if there's anything going on there. Let's start, as always, with a quite nice picture of the majestic Spaceship Earth:

These photos would be even better without the graveyard on both sides:

Attempting to get some artistic shots:

The great painting outside Spaceship Earth's entrance:

Let's ride and see if anything has changed inside:

Some lights were on behind the brick building near the "modern" printing press:

Some more photos of the ride:

Nothing seems to have changed in the descent:

(NOTE: these following photos were taken with the flash because nobody was around):

Let's take a look inside INNOVENTIONS East:

There's no Agent P checkpoint inside. All the screens and props from Kim Possible have completely been removed, and have not been converted with the debut of the new interactive game:

Very strange:

Habit Heroes is still behind a black curtain:

The Vision House:

And the rest of INNOVENTIONS (that is a disaster):

It is always sad to see this thing:

...and it is even worse seeing how bad is the upkeep of this terrible "attraction":

  1. Just curious on your full opinion on mission space. I've rode it several times and don't think its terrible, but I d miss horizons though. Eocot is one of my favorite parks and it seems like its slowly dying away with no care. I'm glad test track is finally getting an update but the whole future world needs to be revamped.

  2. There is plenty to do at Epcot. Spend money! That is all you ate supposed to do. Modern day Disney park executives couldn't give two cents for guest experience. Most Disney visitors don't care. They keep coming, as the parks quality deteriorates and gets cut backs at every corner.

  3. All the Disney execs care about is the "family" money. Turn everything into a meet and greet. No need to put any money into the adult park!

  4. Disney needs to stop all this spending on "princess" stuff and spend more money where the entire family can enjoy.

  7. I think it's a bit unfair to call mission space terrible. It is a good simulator, There are plenty of areas to fit new attractions in. If Disney were to keep all of the original attractions it would lose guests. There's definitely money needing to be spent. Maybe a few new countries in the free spaces of the world showcase
