"Camelot Knights" - New Medieval Dinner Show

Just recently, a brand-new dinner show officially debuted in Central Florida. We are referring to "Camelot Knights Dinner Adventure & Tournament." This dinner-show is presented by the same company that runs the "Pirate's Dinner Adventure" show (you can see photos and a brief description of the Pirate's dinner show by clicking on this link). Here you are a quick description of the show, taken from the official website of this new experience:

The dinner-show takes place all year long at 6:00 p.m., EXCEPT on Sundays (showtimes can change at any time. Please, always check the official website for the most accurate information), right before the Pirate's Dinner Adventure (which takes place nightly at 8:30 p.m., while on Sundays it takes place at 7:30 p.m., making it impossible to run also the Camelot Knights show).

Here you are now an overview of the prices (Here's the link to the official price page for the attraction):

Regular Gate Admission Price:
  • ADULT: (ages 13 and older) $57.95 + tax & fees
  • CHILD: (ages 3 - 12 years) $33.95 + tax & fees
  • INFANTS: Under 3 are free of charge when seated on the lap of a parent or guardian.

GRAND OPENING *LIMITED TIME* SPECIAL RATE
  • ADULT: $28.95 + tax & fees ($29.00 Savings)
  • CHILD: $28.95 + tax & fees ($5.00 Savings)

It is always great to see a new attraction or show opening in Central Florida, but... is this the kind of dinner-show that Orlando needs? When reading the description of this new entertainment offering, we are sure that you thought about the fact that there's already a beautiful dinner-show themed after the Medieval age in town. Yes, Medieval Times is still very popular here in Central Florida, but it looks like Camelot Knights might start taking away some business from them. it is not surprising to know that Medieval Times filed a lawsuit against the company that opened this new dinner show. You can read more about this story by visiting this link.

In addition to that, notice that Camelot Knights will take place inside the same theater also used for the Pirate's Dinner Adventure show. Wait a minute! Knights jousting on a pirate ship? Guests will be able to visit King Arthur's... ship? If it were me, I would prefer to visit his castle. What a weak location and story-line for a dinner show with that particular theme. Couldn't they come up with a different story? We will let you express your thoughts and opinions on the subject.
