Pirates of the Caribbean: Queue Modifications News


The indoor queue of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Magic Kingdom  Park is receiving some very important enhancement that will definitely improve the overall feel of the attraction. Let us take a look around the queue to see some of the thematic changes that have been applied, which are only the starting point:


First of all, a new red light has been installed behind these cannons:


Also, the former new queue route has been closed, and the queue is now back to normal:



No flash in this instance:


These two guys are still playing chess:


Some areas are still behind tarps or walls:







But here's one of the changes that seem to be linked to what is coming soon: cannon balls have been placed inside the walls, and it looks like there has been a battle in here:

All in all, other things are going to be changing. We are not able to give out any other details because... we have none. But many trusted insiders did confirm that the interactive additions coming to the ride's queue (and to the rest of the area) will be great. We will continue to keep you informed. Stay tuned.

  3. I am going Aug 20th for Pirates League and tutorial then riding, will this all be done by then?
