Kilimanjaro Safaris: Zebra Habitat Construction Video

As it was announced a few months ago, a new zebra habitat is currently under construction in the location that was formerly occupied by some props that made up the ending of the Kilimanjaro Safaris (do you remember Little Red, the poachers, and the geysers?). Let's take a look together at the progress that has been made:

As you can see, there is a long fence that currently encloses the whole area. Work should be completed by the end of the year, so keep checking back for new updates! By the way, will you miss the themed ending of the Kilimanjaro Safaris, or do you think that this addition will be actually a better use of that space?

  2. I didn't like the ending. I didn't like the whole story thing, it distracted from the wonderfull views and vista's. Also the bumpy road is a pain (especialy when you have artritis). In Africa they havve excusions on paved roads so it's not even autenthic. Ccan't wait to see the new animal exibit.

  3. Boy, is it ever boring now! The use of poachers and geysers made the trip interesting- especially if you couldn't see many animals due to the heat or whatever. This will not entertain the kids, and really, if you want only someone talking, you might as well just go to a zoo.

  4. Glad to be done with the story... I've hated it since I was a little kid, even when it was at its launch level. It was never done well by the guides. I agree that the ride can be really lackluster if you don't see many animals, but there's no way around that... AK is Disney's zoo. I want to see animals and then ride Dinosaurs/Everest and go home!
