Fantasyland Update: New Tower Appears (PART 2)

Welcome to part 2 of this new Fantasyland update (PART 1 can be found at this link).

Continuing our tour of the area, we noticed that construction on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is progressing (how can you NOT notice this huge steel structure?):

Moving over to Storybook Circus:

Dumbo is now officially offering the FASTPASS service:

FASTPASSes for the attraction are given out near the entrance of Mickey's Philarmagic:

Winnie the Pooh FASTPASSes are still offered next to it:

I would not be surprised if guests asked if Mickey's Philrmagic also contained a Dumbo attraction with Winnie the Pooh singing along...

Going back to Storybook Circus - The three tents are taking shape as well:

This particular tent will (it will have a yellow cover) be a quick service location:

The second Dumbo spinner is now open!:

The entrance to this beautiful new area includes a great sign with a spinning Timothy Mouse on top!:

What a difference! Here's what we had before:

Here's what we got now:

There's only one problem with the first Dumbo (the spinner that opened first). It looks like the Dumbos are touching the concrete when they are completely down. The result is this:

It is said that the first spinner will go down for refurbishment very soon expand the moat underneath the attraction, so that the ride vehicles don't touch the concrete:

A look at the entire area (it is truly great):

More photos of the area (including a photo-tour of the big top, the new indoor queue) coming soon!

The Casey Jr. Splash and Soak Station is open as well:

More photos of this are coming soon!:

And that concludes this new Fantasyland report. Please, make sure you check back soon, as we will post a great Storybook Circus update tomorrow! Stay tuned, and see you later.

  2. It' a really shame that Dumbos scratch on the concrete for a question of millimeters!!!!

Just a little question about Caesy Jr.: the floor is made by wood or concrete with a Wodden pattern?
I ask you this because with all those water sprayed the wood risk to consume too soon!!!

  3. Why do Circus tents bother me so much?

  4. Wonder why they are making the food tent yellow. The Dumbo Interactive Tent is yellow. Is this where Humphrey will be themed?

Very surprised that the Dumbos are scratching the sides. Thought there would have been plenty of room built in and not just millimeters.

Is it me or is the green tent that will be the store taking a very long time to get running. KNowing TDO, I would think stores and food would be the first things running to generate more cash.

  5. To fix the Dumbo ride fast and cheap would be to just shave down the area on the back legs and re-fiber-glass and paint. Or is it harder that it that.
