Agent P's World Showcase Adventure: Info & Rumors

The new "Agent P's World Showcase Adventure" interactive game has officially debuted at Epcot this past Saturday (June 23, 2012). Here you are some very interesting information regarding this new adventure (make sure to read carefully, especially toward the end, as there are some interesting hints about the future!):

Phineas & Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure - NOW OPEN

Phineas & Ferb, one of the Disney Channel’s most popular cartoon series, features the antics of two stepbrothers and their pet platypus, Perry. Unbeknownst to his owners, Perry leads a double life as Agent P, fighting the evil scientist Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Now, that crime-fighting platypus is featured in our new Epcot attraction, Disney Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure where Guests use a “F.O.N.E.” device (Field Operative Notification Equipment) to transform into secret agents and scour World Showcase for clues and evil “Inators” to help Agent P defeat his nemesis Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Solving the clues will take the “agents” to different places throughout six World Showcase countries:  Mexico, Norway, Germany, Japan, France and United Kingdom.

Where do Guests sign-up?
Mission contacts (Cast Members), who will be wearing distinctive uniforms (new costumes), will sign-up and train new agents at any of the following four Recruitment Stations:

1) Odyssey bridge
2) Norway
3) Italy
4) International Gateway

Operating hours: Missions take place 11 a.m.-8:15 p.m. daily

PLEASE, NOTE: This attraction is going to be open in phases, so stay tuned. As new elements and countries are ready to join the mission, they will be introduced in typical Disney style. By the end of this year, we look forward to adding even more elements to this fun new interactive experience

As you have read, it looks like quite a few new elements will soon be introduced in this game. But that doesn't come as a surprise, as all of the special effects now seen during the game are exactly the same as the ones used during the earlier incarnation of this adventure (Kim Possible's World Showcase Adventure). The real surprise is the fact that the advisory mentions that more countries will soon join in for this game. This means that we may soon be able to play along Agent P also in the Italy, America, Morocco, and Canada pavilions!

Stay tuned, as we continue to keep you informed on this and other subjects.
