I-Drive Live Project: Why is Nothing Happening Yet?

We recently drove by the future site of the great I-Drive Live project, and to our surprise... nothing seemed to have changed. There was nothing going on there, and everything looked the same. This was the former cover photo for their Facebook page:

that map recently changed to this (notice the three stars missing in Florida):

Radiators Spring Racers at DCA: Ride-Through Video

Even though this does not pertain to any of Central Florida's attractions, we just wanted to share with you a complete ride-through video of the newest E-Ticket ride that will soon officially debut at Disney California Adventure park (the ride is currently in soft-opening mode). After you will see the video, you will understand why we posted it (Please, be aware that is is a spoiler! Do not watch it if you plan to see the attraction soon!):

Absolutely A-MA-ZING! I cannot believe how good this ride is. It is thousands of times better than Test Track or anything similar to this. I would definitely want to see this coming to Florida (yes, I am aware this will never happen). But that is my humble opinion. What do you think?

Universal Orlando Raises Prices Again to Match Disney

Despite the fact that Universal Orlando had just raised the prices a few weeks ago, the Resort did it again. Granted, the price for a one-day ticket increased by only $1.00, but it does show that this move was done to match the prices of Walt Disney World's four theme parks.
Here's an excerpt from the Orlando Sentinel's article that confirmed this:
Universal Orlando this week tacked an extra $1 on to the price of a one-day, one-park ticket — matching the $89 base price set last week by Walt Disney World.
There's one "good" news, though, as it seems like Universal Orlando will keep its base one-day ticket price at $88.00 for all tickets sold on their website. This certainly shows that it is much better to buy your tickets online before coming to the parks. You may be able to find even better deals this way (we always recommend to be always very cautious when buying anything on-line, of course).

LEGOLAND Ski Show: Less LEGOs, More Stunts?

As most of our readers well know, LEGOLAND Florida has retained the water-ski show from Cypress Gardens, adding a heavy LEGO theme to it and taking away some of the thrilling stunts and actions that were typical of the former show. Well, a new rumor was recently shared by our friends over at
A little bird says:

The ski show will be evolving into a less "Lego-ized" version and will have more of the traditional Cypress Gardens ski show features (like stunts, jumps, etc.) Also, they want to bring back the hang glider. (Apparently, the skiiers aren't thrilled with the Lego costumes they have to wear.)

This sounds very interesting, doesn't it? Personally, would you like to see changes made to the show?

SeaWorld Orlando Trainers Can't Interact with Whales

SeaWorld Orlando is still in trouble. Even though more than two years have passed since the tragic death of Dawn Brancheau, the park is still dealing with a lot of issues connected with that horrible accident. Just two days ago, in fact, a judge decided that trainers would not be able to be in the water together with killer whales, unless some sort of barrier is added to the tank, to separate the animals from the humans.
One article of the Orlando Sentinel gives us a few more information, saying that this "strict safety standard could effectively prevent SeaWorld from ever again putting its trainers back in the water with whales during public performances, robbing the company of what has been its hallmark thrill for decades.
