Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure Coming In Late June

Just wanted to give you a quick update on the new Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, including showcasing some new renderings of the experience we debuted at our Summer to Remember press event in April.

Starting in late June, Disney Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is based on the wily secret-agent alter-ego of Perry the Platypus – faithful pet to the title characters from Disney’s animated series “Phineas & Ferb.” Although just a simple pet to Phineas and Ferb, Perry turns into Agent P in each episode to help stop the misguided plans of his nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Epcot guests will transform into secret agents to help Agent P thwart some of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s most daring plots. Agents will use a high tech detection device called a “F.O.N.E.” or Field Operative Notification Equipment to receive clues for each case. Solving the clues will take agents to different places throughout seven World Showcase countries at Epcot – Mexico Pavilion, France Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, China Pavilion and the United Kingdom Pavilion. Agents will scour each country for clues, evil “Inators,” and – with a little bit of luck – help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
The current Disney Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure will close this Friday, May 18.

Just a couple of observations:

  • The artworks show a completely new kind of device, which looks almost exactly like a smartphone rather than one of the old-style Verizon phones used in Kim Possible's World Showcase Adventure;
  • It looks like Imagineers will not only upgrade existing special effects, but they will also introduce some brand-new additions around the countries;
All in all, it looks like it is going to be a very fun adventure! We will continue to keep you up-to-date.

  1. I'll miss KP world showcase.. But anyway, I wonder why they don't just make us use a smartphone app with GPS or something, so we could track which missions we do and stuff. The other thing I have to wonder is how are they going to protect these things. Part of the joy of using the Samsung Convoy phone was that it was extremely sturdy and built for military use. Smart phones aren't that tough..lol

    Either way I can't wait to see what is in store for us.

  2. ..and something else that is interesting to note.. On a recent behind the scenes video with the shows creators and the voice of Phineas, they were testing the adventure using a kimmunicator..hmm

    ..Oh, and Vincent martela(voice of Phineas) said he was "a part of it".. so i guess we can assume Phineas will be involved somehow. (or maybe he was in the beta)
