Universal Studios Update: Despicable Me (PART 2)

Welcome to part 2 of this latest Universal Studios Florida update (PART 1 can be found at this link).

As usual, it is now time to take a look around our dear old Amity Village:

Quite sad:

A look back:

And, by the way, Amity's name lives on:

A look forward:

The renovated pier was finally open to guests (good spot to watch the new nighttime show, even though it is a splash zone, so you might get wet):

Nice and quiet:

A look back at Amity:

What do I see here?:

Yes, we knew that Universal will host a sneak preview of their new nighttime spectacular. That's one of the main reasons we are here this evening, after all!:

Work on Spongebob's new store continue:

Some work seems to be finally taking place inside the long-closed Cafe' La Bamba:

The gates near the Cafe' La Bamba are still under refurbishment:

It is almost time...

It's definitely going to start soon...

...but you will have to wait a little longer for that.

This should be all, but just for now. We have quite a few photos and videos of Universals' Cinematic Spectacular to share with you. Stay tuned, as always. See you real soon.
