Rapunzel's New Meet-and-Greet Changes Location

As Disney announced a few days ago, Merida (from Disney's new animated movie, Brave) will start meeting guests inside the Magic Kingdom park, specifically in the Fairytale Garden. Due to operational adjustments, though, the meet-and-greet location for Rapunzel (that was originally moved to the Adventureland gazebo) had to be moved. Check out the following advisory if you plan to meet her:

Rapunzel's New Meet & Greet Location Changes at Magic Kingdom

Merida, the adventurous heroine from Disney-Pixar’s newest animated feature, “Brave,” will be coming to Magic Kingdom Park in mid-May. She will be appearing at Fairytale Garden, in a setting inspired by her Scottish Highlands home. In preparation for Merida’s arrival, Rapunzel will now be moving from Fairytale Garden to the Town Square Courtyard (adjacent to City Hall) on April 15, 2012, appearing there through the summer. By moving Rapunzel to Town Square Courtyard, Ariel will be able to remain in her current location at the Adventureland Veranda porch near the entrance of Adventureland.
Flynn Rider will not be appearing with Rapunzel in the Town Square Courtyard, but he will accompany her in the daily Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade.

It is sad to see that Flynn Rider will not meet guests again, but he may return once Rapunzel gets her brand-new themed meet-and-greet location that is currently under construction in the former Fantasyland SkyWay area. Stay tuned, as we will continue to keep you up-to-date with any other change taking place in the parks.

  1. Okay Magic Kingdom, get this Fantasyland stuff DONE and get the characters back in their "homes". I think it should be a Disney "law" that a prince must accompany a princess at every meet and greet AND talking characters should be in EVERY character so it could really improve the Magic in the Magic Kingdom. What better time to do that than when Fantasyland opens? And don't even get me started on that parade, especially after seeing Disneyland's just last week.

    Thank you for the updates!

Pls listen to your fans Disney and bring back Flynn ASAP. There's even a face book petition page for his return and I dont want to have to disappoint my girls.
