Nature-Inspired Design Segway Tour Closing at Epcot

Starting from the beginning of July 2012, one of the Segway Tours offered at Epcot will cease to exist:

Nature-Inspired Design Segway Tour (at Epcot) Closing on July 3, 2012

As part of our regular efforts to evaluate and adjust our offerings based on Guest demand, the last day of operation for the Nature-Inspired by Design Segway Tour at Epcot will be July 3. Until that time, Guests may continue to book this tour and the Around the World at Epcot Segway experience by contacting 407-WDW-Tour (407-939-8687). Segway Central in Innoventions West will continue to be the training and initiation point for these Epcot-based Segway tours.

The Nature-Inspired by Design Segway Tour is currently available for Guest bookings on the following dates: March 6 & 27; April 10 & 24, May 5 & 15; June 5 & 19; and July 3 (final day of operation).

We are sad to see that tours and other similar special experiences are slowly disappearing from the parks. We surely hope they will add new behind-the-scenes tours in the near future, like they did at the Magic Kingdom.
