Complimentary Wi-Fi Available at Walt Disney World Resort hotels

As part of our efforts to continuously improve the experience for our Guests, we’re excited to say that complimentary Wi-Fi service is now available in all Walt Disney World Resort hotels (At this time, Wi-Fi is not available at the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground campsites. However, complimentary wired Internet access is available to these Guests).

Guests will now be able to access complimentary Wi-Fi in their rooms as well as in select common areas within the resort hotel, including restaurant locations, bus load zones, feature pools, arcades, convention spaces (if applicable) and the porte cochere. If the new design configuration is successful, we’ll review providing complimentary Wi-Fi access at other locations within Walt Disney World Resort hotels and share those details at a future date.

If Guests are experiencing any issues with accessing the Internet in the areas designated for complimentary Wi-Fi, they should contact Walt Disney World Telecom at 407-827-2732 (or “56” from any Guest area house phone) for assistance.

When you connect to the network using a wireless-enabled device (e.g. laptop, cell phone, etc.), you’ll notice a network option labeled “Guest – Access (unsecured)”.  Once you click on that option, you’ll be taken to a screen that prompts you to accept the terms and conditions. After accepting the terms and conditions, you’ll have complimentary Wi-Fi access. The cellular carriers covered for Wi-Fi access are the following: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and MetroPCS

It looks like the testing that has been done in the past few months has given some positive results!

  2. It's about time Disney finally got on the free wifi band wagon. This move is long overdue in my opinion.
