Flower Power Concerts: Schedule Change in May 2012

Today we have a very sad news to report. One of the singers that was supposed to perform at Epcot - as part of the Flower Power Concert Series - has recently passed away. We are talking about Davy Jones, who will surely be recognized by those who have attended his performances at the park in the past. Due to this very sad event, the concert schedule will need to be changed:

 Flower Power Concert Series Changes on May 18-20, 2012

We have just learned of the passing of Davy Jones, lead singer of the 1960s group "The Monkees". He was a popular performer at the Walt Disney World Resort and will be missed.

Davy Jones was scheduled to appear at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival on May 18-20, 2012, as part of the Flower Power Concert Series. Plans are underway to schedule a new performer for these dates, and more details will be shared as they become available.
