CityWalk Update: Major Renovation in Progress

Hello, and welcome to a new, brief Universal's CityWalk update! In this report we are going to take a look at the progress being done to expand the waterfront of this entertainment area. Let's take a look:

First of all, the huge television screen that was above the Coke-sponsored snack point has been removed:

Some new carts have appeared all over the area, as we reported some weeks ago:

But here's the real news: major work is being done to create a whole new boardwalk-like environment:

We will post more information about this project very soon, as another theme park fan site has found out some very interesting information that we would like to share with our readers too:

This is only the beginning:

A look behind the walls:

That's a lot of dirt:

Work on the new shop near the Fresh Produce store continue:

The new, nicer color of the Hard Rock Cafe' (we were the first to report this):

And that is all!:

See you soon with a big Universal Studios Florida update, as well as more photos of other areas of CityWalk!

  1. Great pictures, as usual. It'll be interesting to see if this spurs any kind of response at Downtown Disney.

  4. Great! I will be there around April 20th, do you think that the "new" Citywalk will be done by then?

  5. Re: John

Universal building deck-like structures that will serve as new entertainment hubs on the waterfront side of CityWalk. It is unlikely that they will be done before mid-Summer.
