Characters from "Up" Return to Animal Kingdom

Two of the greatest Disney characters of recent years are coming back to Disney's Animal Kingdom to meet and greet guests near the majestic Tree of Life! Here you are some more information:

Russell and Dug are Back at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Have you embraced your inner wilderness explorer and hiked through Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park recently? If so, you may have stumbled upon Russell and Dug from the Disney-Pixar film "Up" signing autographs, taking photos and having fun with Guests on Discovery Island.

Last December, it was clear that Russell and Dug's limited-time meet and greet – or, "meet Up"  – was extremely popular with Guests. After just one day of meeting with "honorary wilderness explorers," Guests began visiting the park just to meet the curious duo.

Russell and Dug now are back in the park to stay with a special wilderness explorer-themed greeting area near the entrance of ‘It's Tough to be a Bug’. With this addition, Flik (from the Disney-Pixar movie "A Bug's Life") will no longer host a meet and greet experience at the park.
