Islands of Adventure Update: Coke Machines & More

Good afternoon (or good evening, depending where you live), and welcome to a new Islands of Adventure update! We have a few new interesting news from the park (they are minor, of course, but still good to know). Let's start:

It was a very nice day at the park:

First of all, we noticed a new themed scooter has appeared near the entrance of the park:

Continuing through the Port of Entry:

This is another new themed element that was recently added to the area:

It's the Pineapple Bank, and it contains...

...golden coins. You were expecting pineapples, weren't you?:

Some entertainment:

Moving on to the Lost Continent, we found a new character that we had never seen before:

It is a very colorful butterfly:

Mythos is in very good conditions:

It was not moldy at all (despite what the photos show):

The Oasis Coolers:

This snack point is now sponsored by Coca Cola:

The location (which we had never seen open before) offers nachos, churros, margaritas, pretzels, and more:

A look around this renovated snack point:

Three new Coke Freestyle Machines are now available at the location:

There they are:

Coca Cola is now available in all of the theme parks in Central Florida (but LEGOLAND, which has Pepsi):

Dragon Challenge. Not dueling, of course:

This is the new smoke effect that was recently installed:

Moving on to Jurassic Park, we are sad to report that Triceratops Discovery Trail was not open:

Jumping over to Toon Lagoon, we found the last of the new wait-time screens (you can see the location of all the other signs by checking out our previous Islands of Adventure update):

It is located near Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls:

The second entrance to Toon Lagoon (adjacent to the MARVEL Superhero Island) has some issues. The interactive fountains have not been working since a long time:

The Aggro Circus show will be coming back to Islands of Adventure. Here's the confirmation:

And now, here you are some backstage photos of the building that houses Poseidon's Fury:

It is very large:

Some rumors floating around state that Poseidon's Fury might be closing soon:

In the backstage there were many themed elements that were being refurbished, as you can clearly see:

There were also a lot of boxes:

They are probably used to store some of the seasonal themed elements:

To conclude, here's a photo of the sign that we found over one of the parking spaces in the backstage:

Never heard of Project Dave. It may be nothing, but we thought it was interesting to report.

And that is all. Thank you very much for reading, and have a great rest of your day!
