General Magic Kingdom Update - Miscellaneous News

The Magic Kingdom continues to evolve as refurbishments are completed and new attractions are built. Today we'll take a look around all the lands of the park but Fantasyland (we already had a major update about the new Fantasyland just a few days ago. Here's the link to it.):

The sign under the train station still showcases the "Celebrate Today!" campaign. Very strange, since it is changed since the beginning of this year (the current campaign is "Let the Memories Begin!"):

Main Street U.S.A.:

The Fire Dept. will soon open as the headquarter of Magic Kingdom's new interactive game, according to many rumors:

Work continues on the facade of one of the building located in the side street of Main Street U.S.A.:

There are quite a few interactive locations in here:

Notice the new speakers:

The Cinderella Castle, looking fantastic as always:

Entering into Adventureland:

A brief look at the Swiss Family Treehouse (which was recently refurbished):

Adventureland is a great area of the park. Certainly one of our favorites:

One of the interactive spots:

Work also continue on the facade of the Sunshine Tree Terrace:

Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room:

The recently-refurbished gateway to Frontierland:

It looks great:

The side facade of Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Inn is still under refurbishment:

The front of the facade looks great:

A seagull:

More facade work in Frontierland:

The Frontierland Shootin' Arcade:

All the machines that change paper money into coins are now finally working (we are not completely sure if they are brand-new, but they look very good). They were all broken just a few weeks ago:

Interactivity abounds in Frotierland:

One of the interactive locations in Liberty Square:

They could have hidden the cameras better:

Moving into Tomorrowland:

Some of the supports of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover are currently being refurbished:

More work in the area:

A look at Cinderella Castle at dusk:

Going back to Main Street, we found a brand-new interactive location just under the train station:

Time to go...

And this is all! Thank you very much for reading, and have a good night!

  1. Thanks for keeping us posted - Do we have any idea when the interactive elements are open at MK? I'm headed over from 1st-15th Feb and they look like they could be fun...

  3. Was at MK Christmas night, and the change machines at the Shooting Arcade were both broken...and no Cast Members in sight. We had to get change at the shop next door, and the cashier said they have yet to be fixed.
