Epcot Update - Canada, Japan, and More (PART 2)

Welcome to part 2 of our new Epcot update. (For PART 1, please, click here)

Let's continue our tour of the park, by checking out the rest of Future World:

The refurbished snack location between The Land and the Imagination pavilions is now open:

It has a very strong pink color now:

The Menu:

Imagination, still a poor pavilion:

The reverse waterfall was dry:

...and the "Simon Says" game wasn't working. Again:

Some work is being done on this side of Mouse Gears:

You can see some tarps near the top of the building:

The former line to meet the Fairies:

Leaving Future World...

...and entering World Showcase:

What a marvelous garden:

Work continues on the Canadian Castle:

The new tarps look incredibly realistic:

Notice the opening for the lasers used in Illuminations: Reflections of Earth:

A view from the distance:

It looks like they are going to put up a new sign on the stage of "Off Kilter":

How can you NOT love Epcot??:

Work continues also on the new quick-service restaurant in the Japanese pavilion:

the koi pond:

The shop is being completely renovated too:

Going to the American Adventure:

A new sign (with the new DVC logo...):

They have a small, new game now. Find the hidden pineapples of hospitality with the new telescope:

Italy:

Tutto Italia should close soon for renovation:

Mexico at night:

Duffy:

Some more great merchandise:

This is a huge failure. It says Walt Disney World, and then "My first visit to Disney California Adventure..."

Going toward the exit, we noticed that the clouds were really beautiful:

Goodnight, Epcot:

May you continue to inspire more and more guests...

  2. The Duffy outfit is just like any other Disney fan, he has pieces from all of his travels, soooo, not a fail.

  3. Another brilliant update! I always feel with Epcot that the reason many people don't like it is its lack of thrill rides. The thrills rides it has are brilliant but there are just not enough so the queues at these rides are ridiculous all day (Minus Mission Space). Do you not feel that Epcot could put in more thrill rides? It certainly has the space to! So many empty or unpopular attractions eg Honey I shrunk the audience space, imagination and the empty building that used to host body wars. If they put more rides in do you believe they could make this the most popular park? As it certainly is the best park in terms of layout and scenery. Sorry for the rant just wondered if anyone thought the same!

  4. @Chris I don´t think this should be a trill ride park but the sites you name are indeed dead or worse.
I think Epcot is a beautifull park that is over kitched because guest wanted to see Disney karaktes so they spoiled the countries with the karkaters.
Then came Finding Nemo killing of the beautifull Living seas to make a ride for kids who can´t appreciate the wonderfull aquarium and kill off the wonder of a reseurche facility in the deep sea. They killed of a funny and wonderfull dark ride with Test Track and so on.
Disney should put a lot of money into Epcot to give it a new life or reimagine the original idea.
