Changes Coming to The Swiss Family Treehouse

As you may know, the Swiss Family Treehouse, one of the walk-through attractions of the Magic Kingdom, is currently down for a long refurbishment, which should be completed by November 18, 2011. This will not be just a normal refurbishment, though, as it will bring some nice changes to the area. let's take a look together:

Behind the walls:

A lot of new wood is being used to completely re-build the covering of the extended queue of the attraction:

You can notice the new wood in this photo:

The Treehouse itself is receiving a lot of attention, and it will look brand-new after work is done in the area:

But the biggest change should occur in the entrance area of the attraction. Indeed, it look like they're extending it! This will surely help to catch the attention of more guests:

A new board has been placed in front of the new entrance. It will surely showcase a "welcome" sign, or something along those lines:

It looks like the new extension of the entrance will be covered too:

They've already moved the old sign with the specifications about the attraction:

This is where the new entrance is being built (it is just an extension of the former, smaller entrance):

On the other side, it looks like they're also replacing the wood of the exit bridge:

And, that is all. We can hardly wait to see the new entrance of the Swiss Family Treehouse! It will surely look great, and it is fantastic to see this classic attraction receive attention, even if such an extensive refurbishment was long overdue.

See you soon, with a complete Magic Kingdom photo-report!

  3. No that's not going to happen. It will remain the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.
