Magic Kingdom Update - Tiki Room's New Sign, Tinker Bell's Nook and More (PART 1)

As the title suggests, there will be a lot of new things that have been added to the Magic Kingdom in the past week. Even though we regularly visit the park (we visit it every week), we still find a lot of new things each time. That's one of the many reasons why we love the Magic Kingdom.

During our visit (yesterday), crowds were light, even though some areas were more crowded than others (the walkway of Frontierland and the passage between "It's a Small World" and "Peter Pan's Flights" were, as usual, the most crowded sections of the park).

As always, we are going to start our update with a look at the main entrance of the park:

The entrance on the right is currently under refurbishment, but it is still open:

They even have a picture of the "Let the Memories Begin!" banner:

They're probably repainting the whole facade:

Under the station, we noticed some new, temporary-looking signs that indicate where guests can find their preferred mode of transportation (bus, ferryboat or monorail)::

They've also installed the same sign on the opposite side of the entrance:

We don't know if they will stay as they are and then removed in the future, or if they will be replaced by more appropriate signs:

The Town Square Theater:

Not very busy:

The Confectionery looks fantastic:

The firehouse is still closed:

This area looks very empty, yet, it is beautiful just like the rest of the park:

Up Next: Adventureland:

The first thing that we notice is the new "Tinker Bell's Magical Nook":

The sign:

It was "fairly" crowded:

This picture is in reality a television that every few minutes shows Tinker Bell and her friends:

They've done a good job with the queue. It does look very simple, but they've refreshed it. This means that they will be able to reuse the building in the future for an Adventurer's Club-type of restaurant:

Once you pass through that arch, you're transported into Tinker Bell's world:

Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity of going to see what's on the other side (Try to understand us. We couldn't wait 35-40 minutes to meet the fairies... In the future, when crowds will be lighter, we'll check it out for you), but the Disney Parks Blog provided a nice picture of the meet-and-greet:

So, when you go to Adventureland, remember to Meet the Disney Fairies (if you want to, of course):

Some minor work being done in Adventureland (possibly for the new interactive game)
