Suites Renovation at the Contemporary Resort
Will you be staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort during or before September 2011? Then, you should be careful of the crane! No, you shouldn't be scared of the bird (Sandhill Cranes are very friendly), but you should be aware that your view from your room may be affected by another kind of crane. A working crane. As work progresses on the new wellness suites on the 14th floor, a crane will be outside the resort through late September. The following text is being placed in an in-room flier in Guest rooms during this work:

Thank you for choosing the Walt Disney World® Resort as your vacation destination.
In order for our resort to continue to flourish as a magical destination, it’s necessary for us to make enhancements from time to time.
We’re thrilled to share the suites on the 14th Floor are currently undergoing a transformation.
When completed, 23 new suites will encapsulate guests into a relaxing, health and wellness environment allowing them to wind down at their own pace after a day of exploring in the parks.
As a result, you may see or hear some of the enhancement work in progress throughout the day during your visit. A crane and safety equipment will be used around sections of the building that may be visible from some common areas.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this refurbishment project. Please feel free to contact the Front Desk should you have any questions or need additional information.
