Dumbo isn't the only elephant that can fly. The morning of May 25, an African Bull elephant from the Jungle Cruise attraction was lifted from her home in the Jungle Cruise via helicopter and was transported backstage to Central Shops Animation for an "extreme makeover" African Bull edition. When the elephant emerges, she will boast all-new skin, paint, hair and mechanical components.
Due to the location of the two African Bull Elephants in the attraction, there isn’t room to set up a crane big enough to reach them. The first elephant was air-lifted 20 years ago and each elephant has flown two times since. This will mark the third time this particular figure has flown out. The other Bull Elephant is scheduled to fly out next year.

Great, huh? Next time you visit the Jungle Cruise at the Disneyland Resort, be prepared to get real close to this out-of-the-ordinary animal!

    and the Mom:"What?? They raised the ticket price so we will go to Dinseyland just when the elephant will fly"...

  2. Sorry for the correction but for elephants a bull is a male and a cow is a female. therefore its a he not a she :p.
