Old Town update - April 30, 2011

Welcome to a brief, new Old Town update. Let's see what has changed lately:

The lateral entrance to the area looks unchanged:

The Pharaoh's Fury swinging ship is gone for good, as we reported some time ago:

NOW:

This side has been repainted:

NOW:

Some trees have been cut down:

The Wave Swing is still here, but not for long, since it's up for sale:

The famous Old Town clock:

Old Town means... old-style cars:

The Nascar shop and mini-golf is moving in this yellow building, from its former Fun Spot U.S.A. location:

This was supposed to be a mini-golf years ago, but it never opened:

Work in progress:

A Pirates of the Caribbean reference (and photo-op):

The ride section:

The "Windstorm":

Just across the street, the overflow parking of Old Town is still up for sale:

This would be a great opportunity for Fun Spot. Buying it, they would be able to greatly expand their park:

That is all, folks! Thanks for viewing!

  1. I haven't been to Olde Towne in many years. Is that little Elvis museum still in there?
