Magic Kingdom - Adventureland's bridge open & more

You know, when some rehabs are finally done, after months and months of work, you feel like you are proud of the work done (even though you may have done nothing towards the project)... For example, now that the work on the Exposition Hall is almost done, I feel so happy. It has never looked this beautiful. Also Pecos Bill's side is looking better than ever, as the new Adventureland bridge (even though it's technically not done yet). Anyway, we have many pictures to see today, so let's start!

As I said the Exposition Hall Town Square Theater is almost ready:

New sign in front of the side entrance:

It looks like it will be a shop:

I forgot how massive and beautiful this building is... and the new pattern on the brick is fantastic!:

As we reported last week, there's a new stand outside the building, for Tony's restaurant (which has always remained open during the work):

Just a small part remains to be done:

The new sign (for more pictures of it, please go HERE):

Tony's waiting area:

A new section in the Photopass shop has been revealed:

The park was open until midnight, but the crowds were ABSOLUTELY NOT bad!:

More work that's almost done (part of the scrim is down):

This will take a loooong time:

Going towards the Castle:

NEW! - The new Adventureland bridge is now complete!:

What a great sight! More space!:

Don't worry, they still have to put up the sign and a lot of theming:

It already looks great:

Some theming already showed up:

The new lights:

As you can see, the bridge is now flat, and I love it, as it is simpler for wheelchairs to go through it:

Huge rafters:

On the other side:

To note: It looks like the side bridge is going to stay, and that's really great, as additional capacity is ALWAYS welcome, especially at the Magic Kingdom:

One of the paddles is still missing:

A bright future awaits this attraction!:

Nothing new here:

NEW! - Now both William and Morris are missing from the Enchanted Tiki Room pre-show!:

They finally took a vacation:

Lots of wires:

NEW! - Pecos Bill's side refurbishment is done:

Looks... green!:

Work continues on Tom Sawyer Island's bridge:

You're going to leave soon:

Some Fantasyland pictures:

The wood:

The base of the Little Mermaid Castle:

Even thought they removed the trees in front of the Beauty and the Beast's castle, the ones in front of the Little Mermaid have literally doubled, making it almost impossible to see a thing:

Tigger's Bouncy place is... closed. What a surprise!:

Dumbo's Circusland:

Can you spot Mickey's Toontown's sign?;

Yes, there it is, with a lonely Minnie:

They're destroying the Barnstormer barn now:

The new walls are now on place:

Just outside the park, work continues on the bus stops:

That's all for now, thanks for viewing!

  1. Excellent update! My sources tell me the temporary Adventureland bridge will indeed be removed eventually. There will be some landscaping work so you have a nice view on both sides of the bridge as you look down.
