The Osceola County Fair - PART 1

Today we have got an unusual and very interesting update.
This time, we're not going to see pictures of one of the major theme parks that visitors come to see from all over the world. No, this time, we'll get to see one park that usually comes in many major cities in the United States: The County Fair! Didn't you know that even though Orlando has more than 15 theme parks, a lot of water parks, many, many minor attractions, we do get the County fair too?

It took place for ten days, between February 11-20, 2011

It's really something different to do, and I found it much better than Old Town. The food was great too, and included, there were two shows and a petting farm! Let's take a look at the

OSCEOLA COUNTY FAIR

The price was very affordable, only $5 per person, and it was worth it!:

The event was sponsored by Ford:

Lots of lights made it easier for me to take pictures:

One of the shows, the Illusionist:

Some amusement rides:

Time to eat! These hot-dogs were humongous!:

I love lights! Can't wait to see Hyperion Wharf!:

The Flying Bobsleds:

One of the two ferris-wheels:

Midway Mania!:

Stitch?! Considering that Walt Disney World is less than 7 miles from the fair...

The rotating chairs (sorry, I am not an expert of amusement park rides' names)

This reminds me of the temporary amusement park that come in my city in Italy:

Ahhh, the memories!:

There were a lot of crazy rides in here!!:

I consider this crazy:

But this is crazier:

And what about this nauseating, continuously spinning spaceship from the year 2000?:

Wipeout (nothing to do with the show):

This is sooo common! Who has never ridden a wacky worm??:

Hmmm.. wait a minute. Wasn't this at Old Town until two weeks ago??:

It looks like an exact copy:

...with the same exact name:

What about this one??:

Manta-style seating?:

Mmm.. Sounds good!:

More funhouses!:

The Scooter:

More bobsleds:

And the second show, the Circus show!!:

  1. Starship 2000 is MUCH older than that! I rode one of those in the 80s, and it could even be older! When it was made, the name was futuristic!

  2. Oh, yes, I was just kidding there!
:-) I'm aware that the "2000" tag was added in the past as to represent the future "where cars would fly and robots would be used in our everyday life"...
