What do you see... when it's cold?

As you may have heard, the first two weeks of December have been awfully cold (some nights it went down to 34!!), therefore, the parks are affected in some ways. But, what do you see in these strange and unusual circumstances? Well, let's find out.... Here you are just a few pictures of two parks (IOA and Magic Kingdom) during the cold weeks:

The Seussian trees can't stand cold either... Can you blame them?:

Dudley is a great attraction! Will cold affect people's willingness to ride it? Are people not brave enough?:

Apparently, not:

What about Popeye's wild cruise? This is even better than Dudley's! Are people going to brave this white-water raft ride, even with the cold?:

Just a couple:

The Hulk is so enraged that he force people to ride, even if it's cold (and dirty):

In the distance, you can see a ride that never, ever opened when it got colder than 50 degrees.
No, it's not the "High in the Sky etc, etc, etc.."! It's the HRRR!:

Outdoor shows are brought inside a circus:

And, at Universal Studios, cold can even stop a Monkey playing outside:

At the Magic Kingdom, flowers are covered by these.... snow-colored covers:

Even in Wonderland it gets cold. Poor Alice!:

Will people be scared and not ride a major E-ticket log ride?:

No! Nobody can stop tourists from riding Splash Mountain!!:

What do you do when you're on vacation, and it suddenly gets much colder than you thought?

  1. We always go to WDW at the end of August, so no chance of cool weather then!

Even though I live in a very cold city, I can't imagine going on a water ride in less than 75-80 F weather.

That is the worst feeling, being wet and cold. I'm shivering just thinking about it!

    Happy Christmas! :)
