ADVISORY! Universal Orlando closed due to capacity

We've heard that Islands of Adventure and probably also Universal Studios Florida have been temporarily closed due to capacity. Can anyone confirm Universal Studios' and IOA's statuses?

    They closed IOA due to capacity yesterday when I was there.

    Both were closed to new visitors, but if you were there earlier you could get back in. I called to confirm around 3pm.

    Thanks!! I wanted to know because tomorrow I will be going to Universal, so I am afraid it may happen the same.

    do you think this trend will continue or will it be dead for the month of january? crazy to hear both universal and disney is maxed out! never heard of this before.
