More info on new Orlando Thrill Park

Today, Screamscape has revealed some more news about the New "Orlando Thrill Park":
______________________________

"One of our readers who got a closer look at the plans for the Orlando Thrill Park identified a few more rides for us. One was an Intamin Mega-Splash, very much like Perilous Plunge at Knott’s Berry Farm, another was a Chance Revolution flat ride and the most exciting was a Vekoma Stingray coaster, an ultra compact Flyer design with a vertical lift hill. One of the slides also clearly shows off the classic layout of a Vekoma “SLC” Inverted coaster, like The Hangman at Wild Adventures.
In other local area news, the Orlando Sentinel reports that Orlando may become home to a new attraction… the official WWE Hall of Fame. Considering that the Orlando hosted Wrestlemania a few years ago packed in 75,000 fans to fill the Citrus Bowl, most tourist from out of town, Orlando has a very good chance at this."

Okay, so, let's see.
They have confirmed that we'll have an Intamin Mega Splash (Like this one):

a Vekoma Stingray Coaster:

and a a Vekoma “SLC” Inverted coaster:

Sounds great... for coaster fans, of course.
Oh, and about the noise problem that we reported some days ago, we discovered (thanks to the Orlando Sentinel) that the nearest house to the coasters will have a space in between that will be as large as TWO FOOTBALL FIELDS!
I don't see how noise could ever be a problem then...

  4. I'm so sorry Anonymous, you're right!
    I'm going to change it!

And, @ Bigfoots: unfotunately, they need to approve it yet... you know, bureaucratic stuff! :-)

  5. Yeah! Great post Samuele, I like the coaster illustrations...

@Bigfoots- I don't think it has even been approved. So the more important words now are:
    1-OTP has been approved
    2-We'll build it.
    3-When

  6. I love coasters, but these are too crazy for me! The inverted one wouldn't be too bad, but the stingray one looks terrifying XD
I think it's cool that they're doing this, but I think with such great parks nearby with much more variety, they might not get as much traffic as they expect.

  7. Shure Francisco, I understand that they need to be approved but I think they need to specified how much time the work construction need, for the build request.

    Anyone know this information???
