  1. Another great update! I see they decided to wait until I was back home to begin finishing some of the work on main street haha. I really dont know what they could possibly be doing to them that takes this long. Well except the Expo hall, I figured they was just getting paint and minor repairs. This sort of stuff should be done before the park enters the full summer operating season.

I also found out that the canoes are to be used on the 23rd for a cast member race around the Rivers of America. So I figure they will be going away soon.

  2. Thanks, Austin!!!
You're right about the canoes, they're being used only for this Cast member event...
Well, i guess we'll never see them returning in their full glory (even though I don't think it would be possible anyway, because the hourly capacity would be EXTREMELY poor...

    Thanks once again!!

  3. No problem. I wish they would return to add that extra dimension to the park thats missing.

Is there any chance they will put the new bricks the Exposition Hall is getting on the Emporium? The Emporium looks bland from the outside and the new bricks will really make it stand out.

  4. Isn't the little bird the Florida Orange bird (or something like that) he is so cute! Thanks as always for a great site w/ great photos!

  5. Thanks!! And that's right, it's the Florida orange bird!

About the Emporium, I'm not sure... i will try to see next time I go to MK!

  6. From what I remember it used the old plain bricks that the Expo Hall had before its refurbishment. The current look the bricks have on the Emporium just take away from it. I always generalize red bricks with old classic American towns like the one main street is themed after. Not plain yellow. Maybe its just me.

  7. Yes, you're right, before the Exposition hall looked so fake!!! I LOVE the new texture!!
I hope they will repaint all MK's buildings with this new texture...

  8. You would probably hate this for picture taking, but it really bothers me that they haven't placed temporary trees along the Fantasy wall. It's very... ummm... Un-Disney like. Just a big desert across from Dumbo. Hahaha

  9. I completely understand what you mean, and I agree, but on the other hand, as you stated, if the y put those new trees, we wouldn't be able to take pictures!! ;)

  10. Where was the picture of the orange bird taken?

  11. It was taken in Adventureland, specifically the Adventureland terrace next to the Flying carpets.
