World Showcase's new country

Here's a new survey that was reported on Screamscape:
A Screamscape reader was stopped in Epcot in World Showcase’s Outpost area by a CM and asked to take a brief survey. Just three simple questions, starting with a “How many times have you visited Walt Disney World?”. The next two questions however are far more interesting. First was a multi-choice question asking which country you would most like to see added to World Showcase: Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Russia or an Other choice to name something else. Following this the next question asked guests which country would they be LEAST upset to see removed from World Showcase. While this doesn’t mean that Epcot is ready to add a new country just yet, it is telling that they are interesting in getting guest feedback about the possibility. Even more telling is the fact that they are considering doing it as a replacement for an existing country rather than build a new one entirely from scratch. While guests could pick any country they wanted as the preferred one to remove, I would think that perhaps the pavilions without a major attraction inside would perhaps be the most at risk. That list would include: Germany, Italy, Japan, Morocco and the UK and possibly even France, though each of these counties have fairly popular restaurants as well so anything is possible.
Ok, now it's my turn.
First of all, Disney would NEVER take down an existing country, for they have the space for a new one in the small and uninteresting African section, especially Italy that has a new Pizzeria!
Would they ever build a huge new pizzeria and then torn it down just a few years later?
OF COURSE NOT!
About the new country, I would like to see Switzerland or Russia.
What about you?
What do you think about the question?
And which country would you like to see in the future in World Showcase?

  1. I hope that the outpost will be gone, I love the other countries too much, and as new country I think about Russia or Spain.
Switzerland is too similar to Germany.

  2. I would like to see something different from European countries, so I think Brazil would be a good option.

  3. I would love to see Australia! But if you think about it, the only Disney movie that takes place in Australia is Finding Nemo, and they have The Seas for that. I wouldn't mind if the America section was gone because there's already a Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom.

  4. Thanks to evey one of you who answered! I have some comments though.
About Switzerland, It would be one of the best choices because it would have Disneyland's Matterhorn, which is a good ride, and I can assure you that Switzerland is waaay different that Germany in the architecture..
    To Jake:
The American Adventure is my favorite show in the whole resort!!! It's true that the area is very similar to Liberty square, but I'd rather have the American Adventure that the Hall of Presidents..
    thanks again to everybody!!

  10. Yes, Australia would be cool, but I think it would be better if built in Animal Kingdom....

    To Tim:
It's true that they look the same, but it's not exactly like this.
Try to look at this image here:

Holland or Greece would be cool, but I hope they don't get rid of any of the ones that are there now.
