Your favorite theme park is....

As you may have noticed, since I started this blog, I included a poll on your favorite theme park.
A LOT of you said that your favorite is Islands of Adventures (I think it's wonderfull too, even thought many voted IOA only for the new WWoHP....)
Would you like to share with us WHICH park you chose and WHY you chose it, in the comments?
I will begin.
My favorite theme park is without a single doubt EPCOT, because it has all the stuff I like:
1) Dark-rides (Spaceship Earth, The seas, Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination, Universe of Energy, Gran Fiesta Tour and Maelstrom);
2) A lot of Nature (especially during the Flower and Garden Festival!);
3) It's sooo big that it's never overcrowded (only the 31st of December);
4) It's always open AT LEAST until 9 p.m., so that everybody can enjoy it all day long;
5) It's the most innovative Disney Theme Park ever (even more innovative than Tokyo Disney Sea).
Now it's your turn! Thanks a lot for participating!

  1. My favourite is Magic Kingdom, because the magic begins here.

  3. My favorite, IOA being second, has to be EPCOT as well. I'm not usually a coaster fan but Test Track is just barely a dark ride with that great speed ending. I'm lame so World Showcase is the second reason I love EPCOT. One WDW ticket immerses you in culture and food of all the represented countries. Gotta love it!

  4. Please, you have any information when is it going under refurb Jurassic Park? Some people say that JP would be going down 2/16, please I'll appreciate if you can give me more information! I'll go to US and IOA for the first time ever and I really want to know about that refurb. Thank you in advance!

  5. My favorite would be Islands of Adventure because:
    The theming is excellent, the restuarants are great, the park is clean and full of plant life, the queue's for about 70% of the rides are themed amazingly, they have a bunch of cool different rides (spiderman, poseidon's fury), there's intense and easy rides, dudley do rights is hands down the greatest flume ride ever built, the music is great, the lake is gorgeous, bilge rat barges is the greatest river rapids ive ever been on, spider man is the coolest non-roller coaster ive ever been on, everything is short walks away from each other. Thats all i got!

  6. I don't think that JP river adventure will be closed, but I'm not 100% sure at this time. The thing is that you MAY find Dudley Do-Right's ripsaw falls closed during your visit, because I'm going every two or three days to IOA, and I see that they are still wrking on it...
    Again, I don't think JP will be closed...

    By the way, thanks to everybody that expressed ideas about your favorite theme park!

  7. It's hard to choose! I love IOA, but it's a toss-up for me between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. I'm a history/culture nerd, so I love EPCOT for the World Showcase. Plus I just love the feeling I get when I got there; it feels epic. Magic Kingdom has a lot of rides I enjoy and have memories attached to...Both the parks are beautifully tended to when it comes to plants and flowers.

  8. My favorite is Animal Kingdom. I just love the feel of the place. My family members also loved the jungle parade and "It's Tough to be a Bug" is lots of fun. I like the walks where you sight the animals along the pathway and if you go toward closing time, there are not many people left, so you get great sights.

    Best Regards,

  10. I love Islands of Adventure, there's stuff for everyone - extreme roller coasters, family coasters, dark rides, shows, kiddie rides. All the lands are so amazingly themed!
    However, the most understated one is Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest is awesome, and so is Dinoland USA (I love DINOSAUR and primeval whirl!)

  11. I can't believe that seaworld co. parks are getting no love at all. I'm also amazed how much people enjoy WDW. Don't get me wrong Disney parks are beautiful and i woundn't argue against the magic factor either.

    But to me Disney is a lot of walking without really that much exciting rides. Only Test Track and Expedition Everest would be on my top 10 Florida rides.

    I like IOA at second cause well, is really good. Is fun and Spidey it's top notch.

    Seaworld i like, cause there's not other park like it in Orlando. Plus two good roller coasters.

    But actually first i'll have to go outside the trend here, with Busch Gardens. Why?

    It has animals i like the African theme and well, if people out there haven't figure it out by know with my pics. By three beautiful words, Bolliger and Mabillard.

    As in Kumba, Montu, Sheikra at BG. Plus Hulk, Dragon Challenge at IOA and also Kraken and Manta at Seaworld.

    I love thrilling rides that's why...

  12. I have to say anonymous that I would pick Busch Gardens over Animal Kingdom every day!! In my opinion, Busch Gardens is a complete theme/natural park, with enough rides and plenty of wonderful animals... the only thing that I miss is one or more dark rides...

  13. You know Samuele i like your perspective on things. My name is Francisco (the anonymous) and it's true no dark rides at all. Plus i don't know if it's just me or the layout it's kind of strange. Always get a little lost getting around from corner to corner of the park. I just guest that all that steel in the skyline makes me happy!!!

  14. Yeah, I agree with anonymous (Francisco). When I went to Busch Gardens I got lost too...

  15. Did you know that some days ago we discussed the same problem in one of my updates? Indeed, one reader wrote that he loved Busch Gardens, but he found the layout a bit strange too! I think they should open a new path between Stanleyville (where there's SheiKra) and Timbuktu (were there's Scorpion)... It would probably help a lot, so you don't have to walk a very long way just to get there. Thanks a lot for writing!
