Hollywood Studios: Unobstructed Center Stage (PART 1)

After more than 14 years, the central plaza of Disney's Hollywood Studios is now finally completely unobstructed. While the Sorcerer's Hat icon was officially removed back in February of this year, construction walls and a temporary stage still blocked (to some extent) the view of the amazing Chinese Theater, only partially pleasing theme park fans that longed to see the park's Center Stage area in its full glory. Just a few weeks ago, all temporary walls came down.

Welcome to Disney's Hollywood Studios:

As mentioned at the beginning, the view of the Chinese Theater was restored just a few weeks ago:

A new, permanent (and unobtrusive) stage is rumored to be coming in the next few months:

Plants and trees adorn the small planters on each side of the park's hub:

The Chinese Theater itself was recently also refurbished and the  spires were brought back:

  1. Such a nice open plaza.

I'm afraid it won't last long. As the new construction starts, Disney will be awfully tempted to fill every empty nook and cranny with sort of supposedly fun and exciting memory making something or other.
